If this becomes law, we will be able to provide funds for critical needs such as PTSD counseling, veterans homelessness assistance and other important services.

With over 1.7 million veterans in Texas and over 124,000 in Tarrant County alone, we have an obligation to see that those who have bravely served our nation in uniform are given the respect they deserve. As a member of the House Committee on Defense and Veterans Affairs, I have had the opportunity to work on a number of issues important to veterans and their families.
